“Pray for the state”; Irma Hurricane devours Florida killing dozens

BlackHouse, Sep. 12 – “A big monster,” as president Trump called it, is devouring the whole state of Florida following Hurricane Harvey last month in Texas.

Hurricane Irma entered the state amid the terror of the citizens across Florida. Reports indicate that the speed of the wind exceeds 105mph. Evidences are not promising about the coming hours as the intensity of Irma has not reached its pinnacle yet.

The death of 3 people was confirmed by locals while the real number of victims will be clear when the storm subsides. The hurricane, which is currently announced category four, made its way to the state from Florida Keys to pass a route across the state and leave up the southwest coast.

Emergency state is announced in Florida while millions of properties and companies are left powerless with their owners and people refuging inside their homes.

The US National Hurricane Center said the path of Irma should move over or near the western coast of Florida before moving over inland northern parts of Florida and Georgia into Monday afternoon.

In Hollywood, palm trees are pulled off and power lines are downed by the violent wind. The city seems deserted with all people staying inside. Florida Keys was deserted by 30,000 residents who were warned by the officials. It is speculated that more people evaded from the warnings and stay home to face the power of Irma.

“Once this system passes through, it’s going to be a race to save lives and sustain lives,” Brock Long, the FEMA chief said. All 7,000 members of the Florida National Guard, and 30,000 guardsmen are activated while they have all been incapable of providing help.

The White House announced that President Trump will visit Florida in the coming days. “The bad news is that this is some big monster. Right now, we are worried about lives, not cost,” Mr. Trump told reporters. The repair process of the damage of hurricane is estimated to take long years.
